Unlike Coco, Wawa takes only 2 minutes to gobble down his food and most times his portion is larger. Today I allowed him to take a peek at Coco eating because I wanted take a picture of him. That really set him off. When Coco finally leaves her plate (usually with leftovers), I will open the door and he will charge through like a cyclone. Even though he eats adequate meals, he has never learnt to calm down at the sight of food. He becomes the ferocious little puppy that he was before I brought him home. Although his ferocity has mellowed he remains a grabber and a gobbler. That is the only way to survive when you have no home and no one to feed you.

I must convess, I'm a grabber and gobbler - and I've always had a loving home. My breeder said it is to do with the fact that I was one of a litter of 10, and there was always a scramble to get to the "milk bar". Mum also calls me "her little slot machine" which is how I take in small pieces of food from her hand. Wawa looks like he's shouting in the photo. Tail Wuggles, Rubie.
Over here we have some fast and slow eaters too. They have to eat in their own enclosures or else the fast ones will grab the food of the slow ones.
