Today is the 3rd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Something I like about this festival is the sweet delicacies served in every home. My workmate gave me some that she made and I topped up some more from the supermarket. A long time traditional favorite is "kuih makmur", the round white ones which melt in the mouth. The long ones are called "batang buruk" which means rotten logs. Coco and Wawa will sit at my feet and drool when I so much as open the lid.Sunday, September 12, 2010
Hari Raya Delicacies
