October Scavenger Hunt

Yay! I managed to get all photos to join in the fun scavenger hunt this month!

Crunchy leaves.
Easy as there are lots outside my window.

 Golden.
My mother's favourite gold kerongsang, used only for kebaya.

Candle lit.
A special corner to remember my mother.

 Pumpkin.
Also known as labu merah (literally red gourd).

Something eerie.
A boy with a wicked eye posing like this among flowers.  No, this is my nephew who is a good sport and ever willing model.  I will be lost without him.

 A black cat.
I was assigned to take photos of senior citizens jogging around that morning and was I glad I spotted this black cat!  Just when I was scratching my head trying to find one....

A river.
A very old photo.  Those were the days when I didn't have hamsters and dogs and I could go over land, mountain and rivers to take photos.

 Heritage.
Mount Kinabalu - a UNESCO world heritage site.

Mist/Fog
A very, very, very old photo of Aunty Tooki in misty Mt. Kinabalu.

Sunset
Sun setting over the sea near where I live.

Broomstick.
This is a broom for small-sized witches.

What??!! Dogs have to be in the photos? Coco was holding the camera while Wawa held on to the tripod....I will include them in November! What-Remains-Now, this is my very first time participating and I hope you can join in (see http://postcardsfromthepp.blogspot.com/)! It's very fun for me because I love taking photos. Thank you all for your kind comments!

It's so sweet to light the candle to remember your mother. The corner looks very beautiful.
The black kitty is so cute. I hope she has a good home. And I love the photo of river and boat. You are such a good photographer!
