For Mother

I haven't arranged flowers in a long, long time. Yesterday was my Mom's death anniversary - it has been 7 years since she left. This morning I dreamt of her. Dreams of my mom always wake me up sad. She used to sit and watch me arrange flowers because flowers were her passion. When I was a child we lived in a house with a big garden and she planted all kinds of things - bananas, pomelos, mangoes, guava and of course, a great variety of flowers. These are for you, Mom.

That's a nice arrangement for your Mom. My Mom left us last June and I am still grieving for her. I think of her alot. Little things bring back memories of her. I miss her so much!!

Hi Diana - my heart goes out to you. It's worst during Chinese New Year, isn't it? I miss my Mom's greeting when I wake up on the first day of New Year. Her quiet manner of saying "gong hee fatt choi"...... :(

It's a lovely arrangement Tooki - you look like you have professional talent. It's been just over 3 years since I lost my mother to lung cancer, a horrible disease and treatment was horrible too. Our family has never been the same. Mothers are like that. Rubie's mum.
