I woke up to a beautiful rainy morning. And it's Saturday! I can laze about, cuddle my dogs, blog. And make pisang goreng and eat it with steaming kopi-o......bliss! No joggers today but egrets were landing gracefully in the water puddles, probably looking for frogs or tadpoles. And a few stray dogs playing in the rain. There's only one blight. Momo escaped from his tank again and this time he landed in AnAn's home. Both are bleeding but Momo seems to have been bitten badly. When will he ever learn?? Coco has been squeaking her orang utan incessantly behind my back. She HATES my computer. It's a yellow monster that prevents Mommy from cuddling her, feeding her and giving her (new) toys.
There are a thousand and one things to be done but I have not managed to step out of the house to do them. The stray dogs at my workplace will have to go hungry again today. It's a lovely, dark, rainy day. Grey skies and grey seas. Simply lovely. Not good for going out - feet will get wet but great for curling up in bed and watch good movie! Unfortunately, such luxury will not be mine today. G and L has invited me to their home for dinner at an unearthly hour of 6. I usually have my dinner at 9 or 10 or even 11pm. It's almost 5 and I haven't fed Wawa and Coco yet. Nor AnAn, Mimi and Momokuai! 2 weeks of staying home has made me a procrastinator. The good news is - tomorrow (31st) has been declared a holiday. Something to do with Malaysia defeating Indonesia at a game. Most likely badminton. Someone said it'll be good if Malaysia wins all the time so there'll be endless holidays. Not likely. Wishful thinking.
Rain clouds? A picture taken 4 days ago but it didn't rain a drop until last night when we had a downpour for......less than 5 minutes. After such a long spell of drought, rain is much hoped for, awaited most impatiently and makes front page news. So an entry on rain in this blog couldn't be helped.
